Tech Toys 4 Kids Guidelines

You can bring your new or lightly used technological equipment to any Link to Share, Denver DataMan or New BCI events or contact Denver DataMan for other opportunities. We are looking for other organizations who would like to partner with us to collect items at their events. If you want a receipt issued for your donation please complete the donation form.
Q. What kinds of items can Tech Toys 4 Kids accept?

A. Tech Toys can take working:

  • Desktops (Pentium III or higher)- computers will be donated to Community Computer Connection
  • Flat screen monitors and LCD’s
  • Laptops
  • Unopened software
  • Digital cameras
  • USB Thumb Drives
  • MP3 players
  • Portable DVD players
  • Game Consoles

Tech Toys 4 Kids cannot take computer parts or machines needing recycling. BestBuy recycles computers for free. Other stores have programs at very low cost. You can also look at the EPA's computer recycling list.

Q. Will my donations go to kids?

A. All donations will go to students so long as they work and contain appropriate material.

Q. What students are involved in KidsTek programs?

A. KidsTek has programs across the front range including Aurora COMPASS Program, Girls Inc. of Metro Denver, Boys and Girls Clubs of Larimar County and others. Go to the KidsTek website for more information.
